Angst: Movie and Discussion

Listen to a personal story about overcoming depression and hear from Spectrum Health Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital about how we can help our loved one after a mental health crisis and reduce stigma by changing the words we use. Then watch indie movie Angst (60 min.), which delivers a powerful message of how anxiety affects our youth.
Teens and Anxiety

Anxiety and sadness is a normal reaction to stress, but how do we recognize if there is something beyond a typical teenage struggle? Join i understand and a guest speaker from Forest View Hospital to discuss the major factors of anxiety, signs, and symptoms, and what parents can do to help their teen.
